Valefor

I’m a developer on the Foresight linux project! This is NOTHING like being a dev on Debian or Ubuntu. The project is small and I just had to request it and got it. You can see Kelsin listed: http://www.rpath.org/rbuilder/project/foresight/members

This means I have access to commit to the main repositories. Right now I’m just packaging packages on my own repo: http://www.rpath.org/rbuilder/repos/valefor/browse

There is going to be more packages in there hopefully tonight. Working on my nxml package and hopefully a slime and sbcl (at least clisp) package later as well. SBCL is hard since it requires a working sbcl to install. I’ll probably just packages the binary and core in the repo so that it can be made. We’ll see. I might just package the binary version. I’ll probably asking in #foresight what would be the best way.

Anyway my quarry packages works well in default Foresight so if you do happen to read my blog and use Foresight give it a try! Definitely use the version on fl:1 not kelsin:devel since that’s the one that’s going to be updated. I’ll be committing a redirect package to kelsin:devel later to keep people from using that version.
