So today on the way to work I lost 20 bucks in a scam. A guy said he was doing a bike for aids. Boston to New York over the next four days. I was going to give him 8 but he said a donation has to be 20…

Like an idiot I decided I could do that and got 20 out of an ATM (we were very close to one) and donated 20. Of course, the Aids Activism Committee has a bike ride next week from Boston to Prov and there was one in 97 and 2001 i think from Boston to New York.

Next time I’m not donating a cent unless I have proof the guy is from an organization. I’m sure he wasn’t.

Why can’t when people scam like this, they can take it from people who don’t want to actually help, or other scammers. Playing off my nice side makes me feel even stupider then I already do.
