Finally we have a GOOD mpd music client! Check this out! This is a mpd
frontend allowing me to use MPD, which I love.

I use quod libet for tagging my files now. The tagging library is
really nice and cool to use. It can do tagging from file names and
file names from tags etc. Great stuff. It definitely writes tags in a
way that MPD handles. Quod Libet is technically the music player and
Ex Falso is it’s standalone tagger. I used Quod Libet for a while and
I liked it but MPD definitely has features that I like.

Sonata is a gnome mpd client but it has all the features that I
like. It loads the album graphics! It has notification! It sits in my
system tray! It’s GREAT. It has a very simple gui which is great and
uses MPD. It can also load lyrics for songs. Finally Album graphics
with MPD. I’m in heaven!

This made my night. I’m working on my fvwm config, when I’m done I’ll
post that with other cool stuff as well!
