Trying to do a website for work. I had everything looking awesome in both IE and Firefox - and THEN…!

I changed the menu images to gifs. And apparently changed something else too, because now it won’t look good in IE! Damn you, browsers, damn you!

Ah ha I uploaded it only a few minutes ago and it still looks good in both browsers. *downloads*

So I’ve started sending in applications. The big three were done this past week and included Google, IBM and Sun. All three have locations in Boston so I applied appropriately. At Mike’s house we were chosing a movie and “Amores perros” came up as an option. When trying to decipher what it meant in english I immediately said “Dog Love” and Mike was like “no… think of other words for that.” At this point Caitlin immediately blurted out “DOG FUCKER”…

So I’ve been quiet for a few days! You can probably tell that Burning Crusade came out on Tuesday

My draenei priest is level 13 (about halfway to 14), been leveling her pretty exclusively with Tendertotems (best name ever). My mage on Bronzebeard is 61, and so is my warrior The stuff in Outland is simply amazing. I haven’t done any instancing yet but I think we’re going to do that tonight.

I am very angry at comp usa right now because I ordered Chris’ collector’s edition there. And it appears to still have not shipped. I wrote them this morning and hopefully I’ll hear from them soon.

Going to school today to see if I can find my project at the art office or talk to someone who would know where it is. Then I’m going to the mall to buy a new mouse because my current one’s left click double clicks and it is annoying as hell!

I’ve lost a little bit of weight this winter which makes me happy I have been exercising every few days, not as much as I wish I was but it is still an improvement. And I’ve definitely been eating better. If I continue at this rate I should maybe be able to fit in my old jeans again by the end of this semester. After looking at my calorie intake, I actually have to eat very little in order to lose weight, even with some exercise. But I’ve been working on my eating habits, forcing myself to stop when I’m full no matter how delicious to food is, and I’ve found I need less food to fill me up now which is really good I have almost completely stopped drinking soda which I think is a big help - most of my drinks are either vitamin water, milk, or regular water. Chris is doing really well too, I’m proud of him!

I only got about 4-5 hours of sleep last night because I was up really late last night playing WoW (really wanted my warrior to hit level 61, oops) and then I woke up at 8:30 when Chris got up to go to work and couldn’t make myself go back to bed (and I didn’t want to sleep past 10 anyway because I’ve been doing that lately and it makes me feel icky).

Anyway shower time and whatnot want to actually get something done today, unlike yesterday. Lots of virtual stuff was done, but almost nothing in real life

I need to get some real shots of my priest for an icon instead of the dressing room program now Or at least, after shower and some cleaning is done!

A couple of days ago I was sitting here minding my own business and then I look to my left. I see one of Erin’s kitties sitting on the small lamp table thing staring at the Christmas tree. I thought nothing of it for a moment.

Then all of a sudden

he LEAPS to the tree and just grabs on to it and hangs there for a second XD it was so cute.

And then when I was in ZG with DotA and we just downed the bat boss, it was like they wanted to celebrate too. I was sitting at the couch with my laptop in my lap (what? I know, no one ever does that anymore, or something :P) and then suddenly one of the kittens leaps SO HIGH I can see him over the top of my screen XDD One of them just did it again now, it was so cute.

I LOVE KITTENS. BUT THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY TOO.

I had to do some cheats (with an unsaved version of my legacy family) to get a new picture of Virtue. Had Daisy resurrect Chivalry, then had him invite his sister over, then had to kill off Daisy and Fortitude to make room in the family (oops!) and then had Patience the First resurrect Virtue xD

I also recently discovered that hitting tab let’s you adjust the camera. How the hell did I not know this sooner? (I just started playing in windowed mode, which means scrolling back + forth with the mouse no longer works, so I use WASD instead and accidentally hit tab a LOT now, lol)

The aspirations of my founder + heirs so far have been…:
Founder (Virtue): Family - I believe Shannon was Knowledge.
Gen 2 Heir (Chivalry): Popularity - Michelle was Pleasure.
Gen 3 Heir (Charity): Romance - Jonah + Ricky were definitely Romance. Count T, I think was Romance, not sure. And Malcolm is either Knowledge or Wealth, can’t remember.
Gen 4 Heir (Fortitude): Family - Daisy is also Family.
Gen 5 Heir (Patience #2): Family - Leo is Knowledge.
Gen 6 Heir (Pure): Pleasure - Valerian is Knowledge.

So far I find Family very easy to take care of UNTIL their family is too far removed from them. Virtue (when I had resurrected her a long time ago) didn’t get any wants fulfilled because she kept wanting “grandchildren” but of course, they were all Charity’s babies, which meant she was getting great grandchildren, which clearly don’t’ count

Romance has probably been the easiest one for me, even if Charity wasn’t perma-platinum she was almost always gold or platinum anyway

Pleasure = very difficult for me. I don’t enjoy filling their wants and blah. Pleasure’s lifetime want is to go on 50 dream dates - I don’t think so

So I feel a bit overwhelmed. The MIT Mystery Hunt is awesome so far. I really love the concept and execution of this event. It’s a great one and fun to be a part of. I’m not contributing as much as I hoped unfortunately. These people on our team are ridiculously fast so I ussually [...]
